Valentines Day

Valentines day is a day of celebration of loved ones expressing their love for each other in cute and romantic ways. Year after year its a day full of love for some and a day of bitter moments for others. As the holiday is celebrated to show how much you truly love someone a girl may receive chocolates, flowers, balloons, stuffed animals, and much more. All symbolizing how much a guy may truly love or like her. The day is a day to remind your loved one that they are loved and respected. This Valentines day I had the wonderful chance to go out to eat with three friends and then for some ice cream with another. Even though I didn't have one set valentine it was nice to have people who care to be with. As I blog about this day I cant help but admit it is not one of my favorite holidays. Yes it is full of love and cherished moments with loved ones but it just seems to be another February the 14 to a single person. I don't mean to shoot cupids love arrow down. But honestly what good is it if you don't have that "special some one" in your life. Which explains why I said it is bitter for others. All in all as I said before it is a great day for some but bitter sweet for others. To look at the bright side us singles get some free chocolate out of it ;)

  1. This is good! I like how you show how this can be a loved or a hated holiday, and how the bright side is free chocolate!
